Attention all creative writers! We're looking for people interested in forming a writers group to meet monthly at First Prez, starting in January 2008. If you are interested, call Chanda at 660-747-2915. It will probably meet once a month, but the group will determine its own schedule and format when we hold a first meeting. We just need to know who else is interested in participating.
2008 Mission Yearbooks are here!
Please take home a copy of the 2007 Mission Yearbook for your personal prayer and study. You will find them in the pews in the sanctuary.

First Prez is forming an “Earthkeepers” group to promote awareness of “earth” issues related to environmentalism, animals, and stewardship of God’s creation. This is an informal “task force” to help bring awareness to our church and community about these issues through events, fundraising, and more. We need your help even if you can’t commit much time. If you’re interested in helping protect the Earth, its creatures and our own future—come join us. Contact Chanda Zimmerman (747-2915) or Sonja Liese (747-5731) for more information.

Encouraging and Welcoming Visitors
Each of us is very important in encouraging people to visit our church and welcoming them as visitors. Each of you does this every week, every Sunday, and at all church activities.
Please share the following “talking point” information with visitors as you have the opportunity, encourage them to attend our church worship and activities, and to visit our website – www.firstpresbyterianwarrensburg.org.
Caring, Supportive Staff and Congregation
Our pastoral staff and congregation offer compassion, care, and support. Through our service, fellowship circles, classes, activities, and prayer team we offer one another friendship support, encouragement, and hope on life’s journey.
